4-tert-Butoxycarbonylamino-piperidine-1,4-dicarboxylic acid - Introduction
N-BOC-Amino-(4-N-BOC-piperidinyl)carboxylic acid is an organic compound with the chemical name tert-butyl 4-(tert-butoxycarbonylamino)piperidine-1-carboxylate.
Nature:
N-BOC-Amino-(4-N-BOC-piperidinyl)carboxylic acid is a white crystalline solid. It is stable at room temperature, not volatile, and can be dissolved in some organic solvents, such as chloroform, dichloromethane and ethyl acetate.
Use:
N-BOC-Amino-(4-N-BOC-piperidinyl)carboxylic acid is an intermediate compound commonly used in organic synthesis. It is commonly used in the synthesis of drugs, pesticides and functional molecules and other target compounds. Specific applications include the synthesis of Montelukast, ten-flavor Salvianolic acid and other drugs.
Method:
The preparation of N-BOC-Amino-(4-N-BOC-piperidinyl)carboxylic acid is usually completed by a two-step reaction. First, 4-piperidinecarboxylic acid reacts with N, N'-bis (t-butoxycarbonyl) amine in tetrahydrofuran to form 4-carboxy-n, n'-bis (t-butoxycarbonyl) amine. This product is then reacted with tert-butyltrifluoroethyl Ammonium iodide in a carbonate buffer solution to give the N-BOC-Amino-(4-N-BOC-piperidinyl) carbonic acid.
Safety Information:
N-BOC-Amino-(4-N-BOC-piperidinyl)carboxylic acid is relatively stable under regular operating conditions, but care should be taken to avoid contact with eyes, skin and inhalation. When in use, wear appropriate personal protective equipment such as lab gloves, goggles, etc. At the same time, care should be taken to comply with laboratory safety procedures when handling the compound. If the compound is accidentally touched or inhaled, seek medical attention immediately.
